| June13/2000 - At about the price of 4 locosts I found some end of stock Work 3 piece wheels. I took the centers to a powder coater to get "yellowed" to match the rest of the body work. The wheel builder then built 7"x16" fronts with 18 mm offsets and 8"x16" rears with 33 mm offsets. The fronts have 225x50 and the rears have 245x45 Toyo RA-1s. My rear track is 58 3/4" and the front is 58 1/4". The wheel base is 98"

| June 13/2000 - Here's another look at the wheels and tires.
| June 13/2000 - When I had the wheel centers powder coated I got all the control arms and front uprights coated in a chrome powder. They turned out pretty good. The whole lot including the wheels cost $150 cdn. Hey I actually cheaped out on something.

| June 13/2000 - I was a little paranoid of massive SUVs coming up behind me so at the price of a couple of locosts I purchased a real FIA/NASCAR approved 8 gallon fuel cell. Of course at this rate I have no funds for an engine to feed the fuel too:)

| June 13/2000 - From the front.
| June 13/2000 - I have a 4 port 13B dummy engine installed here. It has no internals but it allowed me to mate the gearbox and engine mounts. There is another set of mounts visible that will allow the install of a 2nd gen RX-7 6 port 13B. This was the original engine I was going to use but the 4 port can produce more power and does not require an emissions test. I have fabricated a stainless steel header that is getting tig welded as I write this.

| June 13/2000 - A bird's eye view of the tail shaft, shifter, drive shaft and differential nose. I cut and welded this myself and will take it into be balanced for around $50 cdn. Notice what a nice location the shifter ends up in.
| June 13/2000 -The oil cooler that came with the donor installed behind the radiator.
| June 13/2000 - The rad installed in front of the oil cooler. The single row rad from the 2nd gen RX-7 donor was much too large to fit behind the nose cone. This is a double row rad from an early 1st gen RX-7 I got from my engine buidler CanJam Racing here in Toronto. I'm going to have it recored as a tripple row.
| June 13/2000 - I found a good deal on some GRP bits in England. For 100 pounds I got all 5 pieces I'll need. Of course I had to cut them up to fit the chassis and over the largish front tires.
| June 13/2000 -Here is the nose and one front fender sitting in place. The nose cone was widened 4" to match the chassis. I also made it higher by 2 1/2" to keep the original proportions. The wings were widened 2". What the heck size tyres did these things fit over?
